My niece is a very clever crafter, and a huge fan of renew/reuse/recycle. On her blog, Waste Not, she recently posted a great idea for making a Christmas garland that can be used for tree trim, house decoration, gift wrap decoration. And would be a wonderful project for kids. Take a look:

If you visit her blog, you’ll find she has lots of ideas for being ‘green’. Last month she posted an idea for using toilet paper rolls to make small packaging. She says there’ll be more ideas coming as Christmas gets closer.
